The Mercury is gearing up for the 2009 baseball season by giving readers a life-size poster of star pitcher Cole Hamels and giving you a chance to show us who's the biggest Phillie Phanatic around.
How does it work?
Find all nine poster pieces of Hamels in The Mercury, March 28 - April 5, 2009.
Take a picture of you, your family, your friends, your kids, your coworkers, your pets or whatever you can come up with.
Post the pictures right here on this contest page between April 6-19.
Then view all the entries and vote for your favorite. Voting will take place from April 20-26.
What if I don't have all the pieces to the Build A Phil?
Extra copies of all nine pieces are available for purchase in The Mercury lobby, 24 N. Hanover Street, Pottstown.
Can I still play if the contest has already started?
Yes. You can submit your Build A Phil photo at any time during the submission period, and anyone can vote for their favorite at any time during the voting period.
Are there prizes?
Yes. The best photo will win 4 tickets to an upcoming Reading Phillies game. If we receive more than 30 submissions, we'll up the ante with even bigger prizes! So tell all your friends to Build A Phil too!
